– Dutch Lotte Koopmans joining the CST PostNL Bafang Mountainbike Racing Team in 2022 – ‘Allez Paris 2024’
We are happy to announce Dutch Elite Woman rider, Lotte Koopmans, is joining our Team direction the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Lotte had a very consistent season and was riding her first European- and World Championships for the Dutch National Team this year.
Lotte Koopmans (DOB October 9, 1993) is currently riding in the LTD-Team of former Dutch mountainbiker Laura Turpijn. In this team she learned a lot about mountainbiking and could develop herself.
Laura Turpijn, teammanager LTD Team:
“Lotte came to the Team when she was just riding her mountainbike. She only started to ride after she finished high school. Everything was new for her, but she was very eager to learn as much as possible. I was happy to have Lotte in the Team, so I could share my knowledge. Lotte has an enormous passion for mountainbike, good skills and climbing talent. Besides that, Lotte has the unique ability to combine her work as a doctor and to race International mountainbike races on top level. This shows her willingness to race. Now it is time for Lotte to take the next step. She can only grow further and be the best she can be !”
Lotte Koopmans, Dutch Elite Woman mountainbiker:
“I am super happy and excited to join the CST PostNL Bafang Mountainbike Racing Team. With their support I am sure I can continue my progression to work to become the best version of myself on the bike. Already looking forward to the season 2022!”
Bart Brentjens, Team Director CST PostNL Bafang Mountainbike Racing Team:
“We are happy to welcome Lotte to our Team. In the last years she showed her power to improve, to combine a very responsible job besides international mountainbike and her passion for the sport. She is a very strong personality with an open view, but extremely focused on her goals and very dedicated. It is great to see hear coming closer and closer to the top of international mountainbike. Always with a great smile and the will to do better. Lotte is very welcome in our Team. It would be great if she can make it with the Team’s support to Paris 2024!”
