Covid-19 Update
It was a short period of competition in this Olympic year for so far.
We have to re-schedule because of the worldwide situation concerning Covid-19. Worldwide health is priority number one.
Races are cancelled, other races are postponed.
For now the UCI is holding on to June 1 to re – start the competition again.
This year’s schedule will be completely different as originally was planned.
Our South African rider Mariske Strauss tested positive on Covid-19. At the moment she is recovering from illness and after a lockdown period in South Africa she is able to ride outside again.
Our riders are training in their own environment and keeping themselves in shape mentally and physically. Some riders are riding competitions on their Smart Tacx rollers on GoZwift.
Sebastian Fini Carstensen (Denmark) finished 3rd last week in the virtual Dutch ‘In het wiel Zwift race’ (organised by www.ad.nl).
We will keep working towards the Tokyo Olympic Games that will be held in 2021.
We keep you updated!
