Together with Yana Belomoina to the Tokyo Olympics 2020(1)!
-Yana Belomoina riding into her 9th year with the Brentjens Team-
We are happy and proud to announce that Yana Belomoina (Ukrain) is going to ride her 9th year with the CST PostNL Bafang Mountainbike Racing Team in 2021. With the Olympic Games of Tokyo2020 as our main goal, the postponement of the Games to 2021, we are happy that we can finalize our road to Tokyo 2020 (1) together.
For Yana Tokyo 2020 will be her 3rd Olympic Games. She made her debut at the London 2012 Olympic Games were she finished 13th. At her second Olympic Games 4 years later in Rio de Janeiro she entered the top 10 and finished on 9th position.
Bart Brentjens, Team Director CST PostNL Bafang MTB Racing Team:
“Working with Yana is a pleasure. Yana is a very professional athlete and very dedicated to her sport, her team, her goals. She knows exactly what she wants and what’s good for her, and she is not afraid to work hard to reach her goals.
We are working with Yana for already 8 years and it’s very interesting to see her development from starting as a young, very talented athlete to growing into a strong, high quality international ‘Olympic’ top athlete with lots of experience and capacity.
Especially because during these years, she has always been very loyal to herself.
Yana is besides a strong women, a strong athlete and she seems to have an infinite ability to grow. We are very happy we can finalize our Olympic direction to Tokyo in 2021 together!”
Yana Belomoina (Ukraine, DOB November 2, 1992), number 17 in the current UCI Ranking :
“It is a pleasure to work with Bart and with the Team! Over the years we have had many beautiful moments, amazing results. As I look to my results…it’s the result the teamwork of our professional team: my teammates, the team managers, the soigneurs, the mechanics, the cook and of course the ‘soul’ of our team, our team director Bart Brentjens.
I always had good and solid support, which made I could focus on the results and it made dreams come true. I am happy to inform that we keep on working together to Tokyo 2021!”
